Hundreds of thousands of Serbs flocked to the funeral of General Mladic, who remains, for his people, the hero who resisted the Balkanization of his country and the NATO and US bombings that cost over 2,500 lives.
Serbia is the only country in Europe affected by a draconian intervention by the Hague Court, which criminalized, convicted, and imprisoned several military personnel besides Mladic. In total, 91 were tried and sentenced to languish in foreign prisons.
This has ensured that the Serbian people, from the president on down, have never accepted this shameful domination and the creation of a banned state, Kosovo, which constantly discriminates against them.
The Serbian people, who have had sixteen Roman emperors in their history, stand at the center of our
continent as a Roman, Christian, and profoundly European people, prefiguring a new Europe outside the EU and against NATO.
